This bluegrass/folk album, a product of Michael Claytor & His Friends out of Gainesville, FL, features several wonderful collaborations between the band and some local talent. The imagery used is derived from the groups encounters on tour, reflecting the lighthearted familiarity of the album.
Another Gainesville great, Morningbell, released this kickin' album. The packaging, designed around a bold sugar skull theme, uses an array of bright colors set against black, invoking the same groove we can't help but liberate when we listen to 'em. Cover illustration by Nancy Lenches Alegret.
A t-shirt design and trifold brochure for some of the church's happenings. The shirt, given to those who participated in the Summer 2009 Mission Tour, resembles a rock concert tour. The brochure, created for the Passionate Leadership Conference, highlights key speakers and important aspects of the Methodist Church.
A series of two posters featuring a calendar of speakers and visiting artists at the University of Florida. Complete with perforated tickets for the absent-minded professor, the posters allow students, faculty, and staff to engage in the representation of information. Designed in collaboration with Ariella Mostkoff.
This Brooklyn DJ/blogger extraordinaire needed a unique identity to fit his funky lifestyle. This custom type, created just for Jordan, is so fresh it might just be Colgate. The look was applied across a multitude of social networking media, including print media, Twitter and his custom blog.
John "Cougar" King, a local musician with a set of rockin' tunes, found himself lacking a visual compliment to his original sounds. We set him up with a gritty identity with the same Southern taste as your favorite Barbeque sauce, but better.
Orangewood Christian School was looking for an update to their Fightin' Rams Logo. We supplied them with an angrier, simpler version for best reproduction and meanest attitude. All kinds of color options were presented and experimented with during the process. A crest was also produced.
Prolific artist, letterer, and pizza man, Satchel Raye collaborated with Hatchet Design on a digital version of his locally-famous hand done lettering. One walk around his pizza place or lightnin' salvage junk shop and there's no denying the unique quality of his letters. These were compiled into a typeface for in-house use, complete with stylistic alternates.

YAK, a young adult group from the First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, traveled to Kenya in August 2009 on a two week mission trip. The YAK identity and blog encouraged community involvement and became a way for the mission team to document their trip.
